Is it a "class" issue? Is it a clash between "institutional knowledge" and the "newcomers" who wish to support the Republican principles? Just what is this GOP “thing” going on here in Arkansas? Is there any way to meld the institutional knowledge with the passion coming from newer Party members? Well, it all depends on who you ask.
District 2 Chair Jennifer Lancaster joined Jimmie Cavin and Saymone Snyder on the Dave Elswick Show last week; Jennifer was on the air immediately after state Platform & Resolutions Committee Chair Steve Lux spoke to the Show that morning about his remarks supporting Rules changes at the Republican State Committee meeting last Saturday in Little Rock.
Lux was "the epitome of what the establishment represents," and after his comments last Saturday the room "erupted in applause," Jennifer reports. That speaks to the opinion the Republican "old-timers" are demonstrating about the growth of the Party that’s come from what they call the "newcomers."
It’s hard to miss the fact that many County Committees have grown by leaps and bounds in the last couple of years because of new people who want to support Republican principles and the platform; these newer members have done the work of knocking on doors, working on campaigns, and holding fundraisers to elect candidates — just like the “old-timers.” However, Lux has criticized “the outsiders” as being ineligible to vote intelligently on Party matters, and Jennifer went on to explain:
His statements are the crux of what is wrong with the Party right now. If we want the unity that they claim to want, we need them to see the People as truly those who they are elected to serve and represent... while I value institutional knowledge, the problem lies when you value the institution over the principle.
Jimmie, Saymone, Jennifer, and Dave all emphasized the Republican principles and adhering to the platform as key for gaining support from the Party base and Dave added, "If you don't believe in even one of these ten [platform] planks, you're not a Republican!"
Jennifer also reminded County Committee members
We are Christians and we are to seek justice and also love mercy.... so we should do what we can to represent our Christian values at every stage ...
The grassroots voters have put Republicans into every Constitutional elected office in Arkansas. What does that conservative base think about the problems within the Party? How are those voices being heard? It this a “class” issue? Is it much, more? Watch:
I am active in the party.
I am not Christian, I am Jewish. This is much more than a religious or class issue. It is both a moral and an ethical issue.
Despite the claims of either party, both are actively supporting the globalist NWO one world government agenda, each believing the winner will have a seat at global rule.
If you examine virtually every single issue presented by grass roots patriots they are all 100 % a threat to the establishment globalist elite agenda.
They believe common people are beneath them, and that they fall into only two categories; either silent servants, or useful idiots.
They fail to realize not everyone is willing to be bought, and become a useful idiot, and we actually have an intellect, and we refuse to be servants.
We are fighting for what is morally right, and the rights and freedom for both ourselves, and all future generations.
