Survey shows: “President Donald Trump has a commanding lead over Vice President Kamala Harris,” says the early September Talk Business & Politics-Hendrix College Poll of about 700 Arkansas voters that shows Trump leading Harris 55-40%. What’s Governor Sanders’ approval rating? What do those 700 “likely voters” say about the proposed Constitutional amendments on our November ballot?
Follow the money: The RPA’s September “Reports of Receipts and Disbursements” to the Federal Election Commission is worth a look if, for no other reason, than it’s “good to know.”
Fighting tax hikes: “Citizens for an Affordable Little Rock” filed as a ballot question committee with the Arkansas Ethics Commission to “expressly advocate for the defeat of the proposed Little Rock sales tax increase.” Former Pulaski County GOP State Committeewoman June Matheny is the treasurer; former Pulaski County GOP Secretary Reed Martin and RPA 1st Vice Chair John Parke are other officers.
Ft. Smith threats to the Governor: 66-year-old Susan Scott was sentenced in Sebastian Circuit Court after she pleaded guilty to making a bomb threat against Governor Sanders on June 14 “and continued to make threats against Sanders when officers arrested her at home,” per investigators. Why did Sanders and police agree to the sentence Scott received?
With the 2024 General Election about 6 weeks away, we’re getting questions about the ever-present amendments to the Arkansas Constitution that will be on our November 5 ballot. An excellent source of information is — believe it or not — the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service (via the Research & Extension arm of the Division of Agriculture). Each ballot question is explained, with details of what each proposal means, popular title, sponsors of opponent and proponents and other useful information.
Governor as “Moderator” Governor Sarah Sanders moderated President Trump’s recent town hall in Flint, Michigan last week, which gained press attention as his first campaign appearance since a second assassination attempt at his golf course on West Palm Beach golf course on September 15. (Wonder if the Governor discussed anything about presidential electors and the disarray within the Republican Party of Arkansas with Trump while they were together?)

What do Andrew Breitbart and Chicago Marxists have in common with the consent decree that prevented the Republican National Committee from challenging election results for 35 years — from 1982 to 2017? The Left has pulled the same lawfare stunt for 2024. Will the Republicans get caught up in this again?
Ballot security progress: Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote reports:
All battleground states, with the exception of Michigan, have either drastically reduced their number of ballot dropboxes or are live-streaming their own ballot dropbox video feeds. With the addition of law enforcement and engaged voters willing to assist on camera detail, and your support in our Secure Dropbox initiative to provide cameras and post feeds, we are looking forward to hosting live video across many states. Our focus is Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
Some decency returns? “Chris Cuomo, the former CNN anchor whose primetime show took a cheese grater to the Trump administration on a nightly basis, said during his NewsNation program that he personally called the former president after the second assassination attempt … to apologize for, among other things, the lack of media attention and heated words.”

Will we ever know the truth? "Beyond natural or lab theories, there is a third possibility” about the origins of that devastating COVID world pandemic. The Epoch Times discusses the natural theory, the lab theory, and a third idea on how COVID came to be in this very detailed, intriguing piece.

Don’t think it’s just in Australia! “Facebook has admitted that it scrapes the public photos, posts and other data from the accounts of Australian adult users to train its AI models” since at least 2007. Left unanswered are questions about whether photos of your children were swept up… Think twice about how you post your photos!
We keep tellin’ ya: “Millions of people have long suspected it, but now a leak suggests that our phones really are listening to us. An apparent pitch deck from one of Facebook’s alleged marketing partner appears to detail how the firm eavesdrops on users' conversations to create targeted ads … software uses AI to collect and analyze 'real-time intent data' by listening to what you say through your phone, laptop or home assistant microphone.”
