We’re catching up on
Arkansas:
Gun show enthusiasts: AG Tim Griffin said May 1 that he co-leads 20 other state attorneys general in a federal lawsuit against the ATF over the Biden Administration’s new rule “to close the gun show loophole.”
GOP Districts Convention: The First & Second Congressional District Convention is set for Saturday, May 11, at the Veterans Park Event Center, 508 North Lincoln in Cabot. All District Delegates and Friends are welcome; the event — with speakers MMA champ Colby Covington, George mag editor Gene Ho, and former Congressman Madison Cawthorn — is open to the public.
Asserting states’ rights, Governor Sanders joined at least 15 other Republican states to oppose the Biden Administration’s Title IX rules that would, among other “LGBTQ… protections,” allow biological men into private spaces (locker rooms, restrooms, etc.) previously reserved for biological females. The Left is not happy.
Who saw this coming? It’s a first: the ABC revoked the marijuana permit for “Green Springs Medical Dispensary in Hot Springs after the business racked up more than 50 regulatory violations in recent years.” The permit holder says he’s “surprised” because he’s paid fines and addressed the violations.
Election integrity: After former Democrat Senator Joyce Elliot’s Get Loud Arkansas group created electronic signups for voter registration and turned in thousands with electronic signatures, the “Arkansas State Board of Election Commissioners approved an emergency rule and declaratory order reiterating that electronic signatures are only permitted on voter registration forms that are completed through specific government agencies — as spelled out in the state’s constitution.” The Left is not happy. “Voting groups” are calling the move “shameful.”
Justice from way back: Some may recall the names Bontiea Goss and Tommy Goss and Preferred Family Healthcare, the ones deploying the “pay for play” federal healthcare program bribery scheme from around 2014 that took down state legislators Jeremy Hutchinson, Eddie Wayne Cooper, and Hank Wilkins. The Gosses were finally sentenced in late April to federal prison and ordered to pay over $4 million in restitution.
National:
Unforced error: The Satanic Temple is backing Oklahoma’s Senate Bill 36 that would allow volunteer chaplains in educational institutions, saying it will deploy its ministers to public schools if the legislation that has passed the Oklahoma House passes in the state Senate. Like Arkansas, Oklahoma is a Republican trifecta state, with the party controlling both legislative branches and the executive branches.
Election integrity: The South Carolina House approved a new constitutional amendment that prohibits non-citizens from voting in elections at any level after South Carolina State Rep Adam Morgan showed that non-citizens were being given voter registration forms by various agencies that provide “citizen services.”
Many said this was a non-issue. Then we discovered state agencies sending voter registration forms to non-citizens.
“The most secure election”: Result-shifting one-in-five percent of voters admit to illegal voting in 2020, according to stunning self reported results of this Rasmussen poll.
Didn’t take long: The liberals won; the United Methodists have abandoned Biblical Christianity, voting 692 to 51, and without a word of formal debate, to overturn the church’s historic discipline and doctrine on homosexuality “to join the LGBTQ revolution.”
Hold your state lawmakers accountable. Read the bills and take back your voice!
If Joyce Elliot had done her research before gathering the signatures she wouldn't have wasted the time and effort put into this project. Seems sort of appropriate that she's a victim of P*ss Poor Planning. Nothing to see here, move on...
