• It’s the largest one this year: that 3.8 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday near Etowah in Mississippi County.

• Librarians are “feeling harassed and threatened by local officials and members of the public” says the left-leaning ArkansasAdvocate.com, as the fight over pornographic materials in our kids’ schools and libraries intensifies across the state.

• Arkansas’ unemployment rate rose .2% to 3.3% in November, while the U.S. unemployment rate fell .2% to 3.7%. The state’s unemployment rate has been on the rise every month since it hit a record low of 2.6% last July.

• Did you see this in the news? Probably not (and you know why not). Rasmussen Reports’ poll (with AVII.org) shows that 59% of likely Arkansas voters favor paper ballots; nearly two-thirds (65%) are concerned about cheating in the 2024 elections involving electronic voting machines.

National:

• Who’s on the dole in the U.S.? 54% of households headed by immigrants — naturalized citizens, legal residents, and illegal immigrants — are using one or more major welfare programs (39% for U.S.-born households), says the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

• What do dishwashers, furnaces, washing machines, and air conditioners have in common? They’re the latest appliances targeted by the Biden regime in its foolish green energy/climate change agenda.
