GOP Districts Elect RNC Delegates; Pass WHO Resolution

Districts 1 and 2 met together

Voting on RNC delegates kept some 400 attendees busy at the Districts 1 & 2 Special Conventions on Saturday May 11 in Cabot.

Meeting separately (District 2 in the morning and District 1 in the afternoon), delegates from both Districts approved a Resolution that supports states' rights and asserts Arkansans' sovereign right to not be subjected to the jurisdiction of pandemic plans promulgated by the World Health Organization, United Nations, or the WEF. (See Resolution at bottom.)

Second District RNC Delegates/Alternates:

Elected as delegates from the Second District were

Heather McKim (a staffer with Lt. Gov. Leslie Rutledge)
Michael K. Moore (long-standing member of Saline County GOP)
Becky A. McHughes (Pulaski County GOP)

Alternates are state Senator Mark Johnson, Leslie Rutledge, and Will Rockefeller (a Huckabee donor; Rockefeller Capital). (Faulkner County GOP member John Nabholz was in the running until the final rounds. Interestingly, Sarah Huckabee came in last and Tim Griffin next-to-last in the balloting.

First District RNC Delegates/Alternates:

Alternates are Tony G. Rees, Donnie Scroggins, and Margot Herzl

Attendees also enjoyed a buffet lunch together with live patriotic music from the Pat Becker Band before hearing from former Trump photographer/editor of "George" magazine Gene Ho and former U.S. Congressman Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina.

GOPers also discussed efforts to gather signatures for the Freedom of Information legislation as well as methods to get voters to “decline to sign” the “abortion as a right” petitions.
